PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a circulating fluidized-bed gasification apparatus the gasification performance of which can be improved only by arranging the necessary minimum number of partition plates to prolong the residence time of raw materials in a gasification furnace and secure a gasification reaction time without making the gasification furnace longer to one direction. SOLUTION: An outlet-side partition plate 15, the upper end of which is set at the position higher than the upper surface of a fluidized bed 1 and which has an outlet-side communicating path 14 between the lower end thereof and a diffusion plate 11, is arranged on one side of the inside of the gasification furnace 2 to form an outlet space 16. An injection nozzle 17 for jetting a fluidizing gas for the gasification furnace to suppress a descending flow of a fluidized medium, which descending flow is formed near the opposite side of the outlet-side partition plate 15 to the outlet space 16.
