LENS BARREL AND IMAGE CAPTURING APPARATUS EMPLOYING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens barrel achieving thinning, and an image capturing apparatus employing the same. SOLUTION: The lens barrel includes: a moving lens barrel holding a lens group to be moved on an optical axis; a fixed lens barrel 110 holding the moving lens barrel to receive and draw out the moving lens barrel; and first flexible wiring 310 and second flexible wiring 320 for signal transmission. The lens barrel electrically connects the first flexible wiring 310 and the second flexible wiring 320 by inserting an insertion part 324 attached to the end of the second flexible wiring 320 in an insertion receiving part 314 attached to the end of the first flexible wiring 310 at a periphery of the fixed lens barrel 110.
