<p>The subject of the present invention is a building incorporating an airtight wall device and the method of manufacturing same. The building has a lightweight framework comprising lateral walls and a roof and forming a closed space, in which building at least one wall (10) consists of a wall device (1) that forms a barrier between the inside and outside environments and essentially comprises, firstly, a primary framework (2) to which surface elements (3) of the panel type are fixed, secondly, a thermal insulation layer (4) attached to one of the faces of the wall structure (3') and, finally, an external facing layer (5), the building being characterized in that each wall device (1) comprises an additional layer (7) that forms a continuous, watertight and substantially airtight but vapour-permeable screen, said additional layer (7) being, on the one hand, formed of flexible screen strips (7') of small thickness, based on a thermoplastic material and joined together by continuous welding at their adjacent edges (7'') and, on the other hand, attached to that face of the continuous wall structure (3') or of the thermal insulation layer (4) that faces toward the outside of the structure.</p> |
