The adapter (1) has an inductance capacitance-filter including two capacitors (5, 5') between supply lines (6, 6') and/or inductors (7, 7') in the supply lines, and a voltage-dependent resistor (8) for protection against overvoltages. The inductors have a same core. A fuse (9) is connected in series to the inductors and provides protection against overvoltages. A socket side is provided with a standardized threaded socket (3) e.g. E27-socket. A lamp side is provided with a standardized threaded holder (4) e.g. E27-holder.
