<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for recovering lithium by which lithium can efficiently be recovered from manganese acidic lithium being positive-electrode material of a lithium-ion secondary battery without needing mineral acid which requires liquid waste treatment and hydrogen peroxide and also without using a solvent extracting method which worsens working conditions and safety management of which is difficult, the recovering method achieving reuse of the lithium-ion secondary battery. <P>SOLUTION: A mixture obtained by mixing 1 part or more by mass of carbon into 100 parts by mass of manganese acidic lithium is roasted under one of air atmosphere, oxidizing atmosphere, inert gas atmosphere and reducing atmosphere. The roasted material is leached with water. It is preferable that 1-50 parts by mass of carbon is mixed into 100 parts by mass of manganese acidic lithium. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
