<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for controlling sensitivity of a bacterium against antibiotics; and to provide a bacterium having an increased or decreased sensitivity to antibiotics. <P>SOLUTION: The method for controlling the sensitivity of the bacterium to enduracidin is featured by deleting or inactivating one or more genes selected from the group consisting of genes liaR, liaS, liaI and liaH and genes corresponding thereto in a bacterium, or transferring one or more genes selected from the group consisting of liaI and liaH and genes corresponding thereto. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
