<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of flicker due to the difference of kickback voltages during frame reversal drive. <P>SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display device having a pixel structure including a first pixel electrode and a second pixel electrode which are formed in one layer and form an electric field therebetween is configured as follows. The first pixel electrode is divided into two or more portions, the two or more portions are electrically connected via a connection bridge formed in a conductive layer different from a conductive layer forming the pixel electrodes in a state of not exerting an influence upon the shape of the second pixel electrode, the first pixel electrode is capacitively coupled to the lower part of an adjacent first data wiring and an upper part of an adjacent second data wiring and the second pixel electrode is capacitively coupled to the upper part of the first data wiring and the lower part of the second data wiring, thereby: substantially equalizing a parasitic capacitance generated between the first pixel electrode and data wiring and the parasitic capacitance between the second pixel electrode and data wiring; and minimizing the reduction of transmittance. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
