<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To wither useless miscellaneous trees, weeds and liana grass plants extending new-tree tops, stems and twiners in parks, the corners of gardens, shrubberies, hedges, street plantations and the like before perceived, by impregnating treatment of stems and branches and the like with a stem and leaf treating type withering treatment agent having infiltrating and transferring properly in plant bodies, instead of digging up and removing the roots thereof, and to perform the withering by using a special-purpose device and a treatment method. <P>SOLUTION: The treatment object parts of stems and branches of a treatment object plant are compressed and/or collapsed, sap and air in the treatment object parts are squeezed out, or cross-sectional adhesion of each tissue composing stems and the like is loosed, so that a treating agent is permeated to be infiltrated into the treatment part. The operation of the compression and/or collapse is performed with a device composed so that a device of non-leaking and upper side opened form and a pressing body are connected to each arm, the arms bear spindles and rotate, and the pressure receiving action surface set on the bottom or side surface lower part in a vessel and pressing action surface of the pressing body are fitted or approach to be roughly fitted in the treating agent solution by rotation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
