PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a head gimbal assembly which efficiently connects a near-field light element in a slider and a light source outside the slider, and achieves stable floating of the slider, and an information recording/reproducing device including the same. SOLUTION: One of side surfaces of a base film 301 provided on a flexure 204, and facing an optical fiber 206 forms a mirror surface 301a inclined at a predetermined angle with respect to the longitudinal direction of the optical fiber 206.
