PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve reduction in thickness of a vibration motor and shortening of start-up time. SOLUTION: This vibration motor is a PM-type stepping motor including a stator having a coil bobbin formed by winding a coil and a yoke which is provided to cover the coil bobbin and has pole teeth in the inner circumference; a rotor having a shaft, an eccentric weight formed outside a diameter direction of the shaft and a rotor magnet formed outside a diameter direction of the eccentric weight; and a bearing pivotally supporting the stator and the shaft relatively rotatably or pivotally supporting the shaft and the eccentric weight relatively rotatably in a state where the rotor is provided with a predetermined gap inside the diameter direction of the pole teeth of the stator.
