METHOD FOR RESOURCE ALLOCATION AND BASE STATION

A method for resource allocation and a base station are provided in the present invention. The method includes: a base station allocates resources for multicast broadcast service from continuous resource units within one or more subframes, wherein, the subframes are subframes on carriers which carry multicast broadcast service and unicast service. Application of the invention enables resource sharing, avoids complex operation of the unicast service, improves performance of the whole communication system and increases spectrum efficiency of the communication system.
