STEEL SLIT DAM, GRAVEL BODY CAPTURE MEMBER FOR USE IN THE SAME, AND METHOD FOR ATTACHING THE GRAVEL BODY CAPTURE MEMBER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steel slit dam which can reduce a material cost and reduce the number of operations on a job site for attaching a gravel body capture member to a slit dam body, by reducing the use of a wasteful member to the utmost, when the gravel body capture member is attached to the slit dam body.

SOLUTION: This steel slit dam includes: a plurality of supports 11 which are erected in an inclined manner at intervals in the direction of a river width; two guide plates 21 and 23 which are positioned along the axial direction of the supports 11, in the mutually-opposed lateral portions 11a of the plurality of supports 11, and which are arranged almost in parallel at an interval in the flow direction of a river 7; and the gravel body capture member 31 which has both ends 31a arranged between the two guide plates 21 and 23 on both the sides in the direction of the river width. The plurality of gravel body capture members 31 are stacked at vertical intervals via an interval maintaining member 41 which is arranged on at least either of the upper and lower sides thereof.
