<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display device capable of displaying a clear image, securing transparency, and being made inexpensive. <P>SOLUTION: In the image display device, light sources 4a to 4c for emitting light rays different in color respectively are provided on the side of end planes 1a-3a of three sheets of platy light transmission bodies 1 to 3. One or a plurality of reflecting parts 5 having a reflecting plane are formed respectively at the light transmission bodies 1 to 3, and the reflecting part 5 is configured such that light from the light sources 4a to 4c made incident from the end planes 1a to 3a are reflected and they are emitted from surface planes 1b∼3b. The reflecting parts 5 of one for each of light transmission bodies 1 to 3 constitute a pixel 7. A reflecting plane of one reflecting part 5 constituting the pixel 7 is substantially brought into contact with the reflecting plane of the other reflecting parts 5 constituting the same pixel 7 in plan view. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
