<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hose clamp with high load capacity and a method for forming the same. <P>SOLUTION: The hose clamp includes a clamping band and a turnbuckle, which is attached to an end section of the clamping band and which includes a hosing and a clamping screw. The housing 6 has a base wall with a shaping that engages in the clamping band.
