PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ball bearing hardly causing locking due to the bite of a separator. SOLUTION: The ball bearing includes an inner ring, an outer ring, a plurality of balls disposed so as to freely roll between the inner ring and the outer ring, and the separator made of a solid lubricant keeping an interval between the balls. The separator is a columnar member, and its both ends (both bottom faces of column) are made to face to the ball. When a diameter of the ball is b, a diameter of the separator is d, and a total clearance amount of the ball and the separator in a circumferential direction is t, equations: 0.6b≤d≤0.95b, 0.3b≤t≤2b are satisfied.
