Disclosed is an information classification device which enables classification into groups comprising content having close imaging locations, without requiring adjustment of weight in the time direction by a user. The information classification device is provided with: a storage section (2) which stores group number information and a plurality of content items including imaging time information and imaging location information; and a classification section (3) which classifies the plurality of content items into groups having numbers denoted by the group number information. The classification section (3) generates, in accordance with a plurality of imaging location information items, a first group wherein each item of content is integrated with a group number denoted by the group number information. If it is confirmed by using a plurality of imaging time information items that within the first group generated there is a second group including temporally discontinuous content, the second group is divided into a plurality of subgroups including content for which temporal continuity is ensured, and the distance with regard to the content included in the subgroups is amended to separate the divided subgroups.
