<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projection type display apparatus with a position detecting function which can detect a position of a target object without requiring the use of a structure in which many light emitting elements and light receiving elements are arranged around a detection area, or an exclusive input member. <P>SOLUTION: In the projection type display apparatus 100 with the position detecting function, position detecting light L2 is emitted from a light emitting element 12 in a position detecting light source part 11 built in an image projector 200 and position detecting light L3 reflected by the target object is received by a photodetector 30 to detect the coordinates of the target object. The intensity distribution of the position detecting light L2 emitted from the common light emitting element 12 is converted by an intensity distribution conversion device 16 and intensity distribution in which intensity is changed in each direction is successively formed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
