DETECTOR, SENSOR, AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE DETECTOR AND THE SENSOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detector which is improved in economy and high in manufacturing yield, and does not generate a short circuit between adjacent pixels, and to provide a sensor, and a method of manufacturing the detector and the sensor.

SOLUTION: The detector includes: a light-receiving element array 50 where a plurality of light-receiving elements P are arranged in a compound semiconductor having a light reception sensitivity of a wavelength of 1 to 3 μm; a CMOS 70 for reading a photocharge for each pixel; a junction bump 9 interposed between the light-receiving element array and the CMOS; and a cylindrical metal G, namely a barrel, subjected to conductive connection to the junction bump 9. The cylindrical metal G is provided at either the side of the light-receiving element array or the side of the CMOS and positioned to house the junction bump 9.
