<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a USB memory device having an authentication function capable of performing simple authentication. <P>SOLUTION: The USB memory device is provided with a data storage portion and is configured to transmit/receive data via a USB interface to/from an information processor. The USB memory device is provided with an authentication data storage portion for storing preliminarily input identification information; an input part having a display portion and a touch panel for displaying a display object; a collation portion for determining whether the input information input from the input portion is matched with the identification information; and a USB interface control portion for controlling the USB interface.
