<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an RFID-based reader which allows short-distance recognition, while minimizing recognition malfunctions in the recognition of an RFID tag by a UHF-band RFID reader. <P>SOLUTION: The RFID reader 100 includes a gate frame 101 set on both sides of an entrance separated by a fixed space; an envelope-shaped reflecting plate 130 provided vertically inside the gate frame; an array antenna 150, arranged on the reflecting plate to receive tag information transmitted from an RFID tag 1; and an RFID reader unit 170, which controls the operation of the array antenna and converts the tag information received by the array antenna to tag data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
