PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hair dressing composition hardly causing sticky feeling when finished, and effective for volume up and enabling hair tips to be settled well in a curled style hair. SOLUTION: The hair dressing composition contains at least a wax or a hydrocarbon solid at 25°C, dioctylcyclohexane, a surfactant and water. A nonionic surfactant is preferable as the surfactant.
