PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a structure with an large area and a fine comb type shape on its surface, and to provide a method for manufacturing a mold for molding a resin generated by the structure. SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing the resin structure 5 with the comb type structure includes a step of forming a laminated structure 3 formed of different resins 1, 2 of at least two or more kinds selected from thermoplastic resins, a step of cutting the laminated structure and forming cut surfaces with the two or more kinds of different thermoplastic resins 1, 2 arranged and exposed thereon, and a step of forming the comb type recessed/protruded structure on the cut surface by preferentially eliminating the resin of at least one kind out of the thermoplastic resins constituting the laminated structure 3 from the cut surface.
