PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize the weight of a constitution for suppressing the spreading of an airbag in a radial direction. SOLUTION: This airbag device 20 is incorporated into an instrument panel 110 having a split-openable lid 12 and a lid side peripheral wall 14 erected around the outside of the lid 12. The airbag device 20 includes an inflator 22, the airbag 30 to be inflated and deployed into a bag shape by gas introduced from the inflator 22, and an outer bag 50 sewed into a three-dimensional shape having an outer bag side bottom 52 and an outer bag side peripheral wall 54 provided around the outside of the outer bag side bottom 52 by a sheet-like member, having the outer bag side bottom 52 fixed to the inflator 22 and having the outer bag side peripheral wall 54 disposed to surround the folded airbag 30 and held between the airbag 30 inflated and deployed and the lid side peripheral wall 14.
