PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid developer set which is excellent in light-transmissive property of a color image and has preferable fixing property, and to provide an image forming apparatus and an image forming method using the liquid developer set. SOLUTION: The electrophotographic liquid developer set comprising a plurality of liquid developers prepared by dispersing toner particles comprising colorant and binder resin into an electrically insulating liquid at least includes a cyan developer containing a cyan type colorant essentially comprising a phthalocyanine blue pigment and a magenta developer containing a magenta type colorant essentially comprising one kind selected from a group consisting of a quinacridone pigment, a carmine pigment and a naphthol pigment. The cyan developer and the magenta developer respectively contains, as the binder resin, a polyester resin of which the weight-average molecular weight Mw satisfies 10,000≤Mw≤200,000 and the weight-average molecular weight of the polyester resin contained in the magenta developer is 0.3 to 0.85 times of the weight-average molecular weight of the polyester resin contained in the cyan developer.
