PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To process, by one main spindle, the four surfaces of the middle part of a pillar material by one clamping operation. SOLUTION: A tenoning unit 5b includes: a back-and-forth moving body 510 horizontally movable back and forth along the right side surface of an elevating body 507; a turning body 515 attached to the rear end part of the back-and-forth moving body 510; and a tenoning motor 519 attached to the turning body 515. When an upper tenoning body 523 and a round-edge cutter 524 are coaxially attached, and processing contents include cutting of an upper surface in processing applied to the middle part based on precutting process data, servo motors 505 and 512 and the tenoning main spindle motor 519 are driven to execute a processing operation in order of lower surface→rear surface→front surface, then the back-and-forth moving body 510 is moved to an advance-traveling end, an original point return operation is performed, and the rod of a pneumatic cylinder 517 is pulled down to a retreat end to turn the tenoning main spindle motor 519 downward.
