PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly efficient rotary fluid machine (10) wherein a blade (46) can be easily provided in a cylinder (40). SOLUTION: The blade (46) is formed in a planar shape separately from the cylinder (40) and arranged in cylinder chambers (41, 42) while being loosely fitted into a blade groove (7) formed in the cylinder (40). Namely, the mutual sizes of the blade (46) and the blade groove (7) are set to establish the condition that a minute clearance is formed between the blade (46) and the blade groove (7).
