PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an auxiliary water feeding apparatus in which draining of auxiliary water at the tip of an endoscope is excellent. SOLUTION: The auxiliary water feeding apparatus includes: an auxiliary water feeding pump; a tank for reserving a liquid pumped by the auxiliary water feeding pump; an auxiliary water feeding tube for ejecting the liquid from the tip of the insertion tube of the endoscope; and an operation means to operate the auxiliary water feeding pump. The auxiliary water feeding tube is branched at the middle section, and one end of the branched channel is opened within the tank or in the atmosphere. The auxiliary water feeding apparatus is characterized by including a detection part for detecting the operation of the operation means and an electric driving valve for opening and closing the flow of the liquid in the branched channel, and characterized in that the electric driving valve closes the flow of the liquid when the detection part detects the start of the operation of the operation means and that the electric driving valve opens the flow of the liquid when the detection part detects the stop of the operation of the operation means.
