The invention describes a method for annotating multimedia data (MD) comprising a sequence of digitized images in a computer-aided manner. The method according to the invention comprises the steps of analysing the multimedia data (MD) in order to identify one or more objects (01, 02, 03) in the multimedia data (MD) and assigning the object(s) (01, 02, 03) to a respective role. The role assignment is determined by processing context information (KW) representing a model of the multimedia data (MD).
