According to the invention, a holding profile (3) is fastened to the upper edge region of the glass element (10), which holding profile has a holding flange (4) which transmits the load of the glass element (10) arranged below the running rail profile (1) via an adapter profile (5) to the at least one carriage (2) which is guided in the substantially U-shaped running rail profile (1) which is open in a direction normal to the plane of the glass element (10). The adapter profile (5) and the running rail profile (1) can be covered on the visible side by a cover profile (6) fastened to the running rail profile (1). The holding profile (3) and the cover profile (6) preferably have the same profile cross section and are mounted in a mirror-inverted manner with mutually facing holding flanges (4).
