Provided is a device for jointing film members wherein a jointing operation for laminating a plurality of film members and jointing the laminated portions can be easily performed, and a desired joint accuracy can be obtained in respective film members. The device is provided with a tensile force application device wherein film members (2, 3) laminated in the vertical direction are located at a predetermined height from an operating surface (4), front ends of the film members (2, 3) and rear ends of the film members (2, 3) are respectively gripped together, and a tensile force is applied in the direction toward the front and rear ends of the film members (2, 3); a joint machine (19) which is located between the front ends and the rear ends of the film members (2, 3) to which the tensile force is applied, can move independently on the operation surface (4) in the fore and aft directions, and sequentially joints the laminated portions (2a, 3a) while moving independently from the rear side to the front side; and a support device (42) which supports the front portions (2F, 3F) of the film members (2, 3) from below when the joint machine (19) moves independently such that the front portions are maintained at a predetermined height on the operation surface, and shortens or extends in the fore and aft directions in conjunction with the joint machine (19) which moves independently while maintaining the support state.
