<p>PURPOSE: An LED package having a lens is provided to form a desired radiation pattern by making the shape of the package lens corresponded to the radiation angle pattern of an LED chip. CONSTITUTION: In an LED package having a lens, an LED chip(1220) is installed in the package body. The package body is comprised of an upper frame combined with a lead electrode(1230) and a lower frame in the lower part of the LED chip. The LED chip is electrically connected to a lead electrode through a wire A package lens(1240) is installed in the package body so that an LED chip be covered. The shape of the package lens corresponds to the shape of the radiation pattern of an LED chip.</p> |
