PURPOSE: An apparatus for roll printing is provided to maintain the swelling of the blanket during transferring a pattern by detecting the thickness change of the blanket. CONSTITUTION: In an apparatus for roll printing, a blanket(2) is wound on the surface of a printing roll(1). A coater coats an ink on the blanket with a coating member A dryer(6) dries the ink coated on the blanket and the swollen blanket. A cliche(44) patterns the ink on the blanket wound around the printing roll. A thickness adjusting unit detect the blanked from which an ink pattern is removed.
