PURPOSE: A multi touch and proximity object sensing device is provided to reduce the thickness of the device by arranging a camera and light source for sensing a touch location. CONSTITUTION: A sensing light source(120) radiates light for sensing touch by an object or a target location. The object locates on the top of a display panel. A camera(140) senses a touch location. A diffusing plate(125) is arranged in the bottom of the display panel. The light is transmitted to the display panel. A wedge wave guide(130) is arranged in the bottom of the diffusing plate. The light is projected to the diffusing plate.
