PURPOSE: A lift having self electric power generation and a charging unit are provided to operate a lift with a motor using the power of a battery by charging a restore power to the battery. CONSTITUTION: In a lift having self electric power generation and a charging unit, a battery(30) is loaded in the cage(12) a lift(10). A control panel(38) is loaded on the top side of cage of lift. A control panel has an inverter or a converter(34) therein. The cage of the lift is descended or ascended according to the mast through driving of the motor. The motor uses the power source of a battery. A power recovery unit(32) is installed within the control panel.
