PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve sure direct sensing by variably setting a size of the optimum template pattern according to a situation. SOLUTION: In accordance with the information of a moving state between first image data and second image data which are acquired by an acquisition means (encoder or the like) acquiring the information of a moving state of an object indirectly or by estimation, the size of the template pattern in a moving direction is variably set to perform pattern matching processing.
