<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processor capable of further reducing power consumption in a location where a user stays relatively long while executing necessary positioning by using a GPS sensor, an information processing method, and an information processing program. <P>SOLUTION: When a location positioned by a GPS positioning means 11 coincides with a communication area of a radio base station including a specific area of a target for a user to stay for a long time, power consumption is suppressed by changing over the cycle of the positioning of the GPS positioning means 11 from the present first cycle to a second cycle longer than the first cycle.
