<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically create a booklet having excellent appearance even if a user does not decide presence/absence of a flyleaf. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus includes at least: an image processing part rasterizing data of each page of a document described in received print data to form an image; a print processing part printing the image on a paper sheet; and a post-processing part folding the already printed paper sheet to create the booklet. The image forming apparatus also includes: an imposition processing part arranging the image of each page of the document comprising the plurality of pages in each page of the booklet in prescribed order; and a mergence processing part comparing the total page number of the booklet and the total page number of the document, and composing an image of form data previously set as a default, previously selected by the user, or designated by the print data to at least one of the flyleaves wherein the image of the document is not arranged when the total page number of the document is smaller. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
