<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heating device configured to control a temperature distribution on a ceramic surface heat generation heater so that it may have a heat generation ratio set according to the resistance values of heat generating bodies, also, perform an accurate control, and also, achieve a reduction in harmonic current and improvement of flicker. <P>SOLUTION: The heating device includes the plurality of independently power- controllable heat generating bodies 3, 20 having different heat generation amounts, regarding a method of controlling the heat generating bodies of the heating device, only one of the heat generating bodies is phase-controlled while giving priority thereto, and power supply to the other heat generating body is turned off. If the heat generation is insufficient by the heat generated by one of the heat generating bodies, one of the heat generating bodies is turned on for a full-wave cycle, and the other is phase-controlled, power is controlled by alternately switching the heat generating body to be controlled with priority, at one full-wave cycle of the commercial frequency of an input power supply or every integral multiple of one full-wave cycle. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
