<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid electrolytic capacitor and a method of manufacturing the same, which can suppress a leakage current and can reduce cost. <P>SOLUTION: The solid electrolytic capacitor includes: a capacitive element having a cathode layer formed on a surface of an anode body having a valve action metal, and an anode wire led out from a terminal lead-out face of one end of the anode body; an anode terminal joined to the anode wire; a cathode terminal joined to the cathode layer; a protective layer formed of a resin which covers a part or the whole of the capacitive element; and a packaging body for forming a package by covering a periphery of the capacitive element including the protective layer and anode wire with a resin harder than the protective layer. The protective layer has a linear expansion coefficient higher than that of the packaging body. A weight ratio of the packaging body with respect to a sum of weights of the packaging body and protective layer between the terminal lead-out face and an outer surface of the packaging body opposite to the terminal lead-out face is 50% or higher. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
