PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polycarbonate resin composition which has excellent heat resistance and mechanical properties and yields a molded article that has a good metallic or sparkling appearance, reduced weld-line visibility, and no visible lightness difference between the both sides of weld lines, to provide a resin molded article obtained by molding the composition, and to provide a method for manufacturing the molded article. SOLUTION: The polycarbonate resin composition contains (D) (D-1) 0.005 to 1.5 pts.mass of a pearlescent particles having a mean particle diameter of at least 10μm and less than 60μm, (D-2) 0.005 to 5 pts.mass of pearlescent particles having a mean particle diameter between 60μm and 300μm, and (E) 0.05 to 0.4 pt.mass of titanium oxide having a mean particle diameter between 0.05μm and 3μm, per 100 pts.mass of a glass fiber-containing resin component comprising (A) 60 to 90 mass% of an aromatic polycarbonate resin, (B) 5 to 20 mass% of a glass fiber having a refractive index that differs by at most 0.02 from that of the aromatic polycarbonate resin, and (C) 5 to 25 mass% of a poly(methyl methacrylate) resin.
