PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a collection implement capable of efficiently collecting an analyte contained in a solution to be inspected to be used in analysis. SOLUTION: The solution to be inspected housed in the housing 10 of the collection implement 1 flows downward from an elongated opening smaller than the cross-section of the housing 10 to pass through a filter member 30 the pose size of which is smaller than that of the analyte contained in the solution to be inspected, so that the analyte is collected by the filter member 30. Accordingly, even in a case that the concentration of the analyte is low with little solution to be inspected, the analyte is efficiently collected by the filter member 30. At this time, since the inner peripheral surface 12B of the housing 10 is tapped toward the base of the housing, the solution to be inspected smoothly flows toward the base, and the analyte in the solution to be inspected can be collected in higher concentration by the filter member 30.
