METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR ACQUIRING WEAK GPS L1 C/A CODE MODULATED SIGNAL

PURPOSE: A method and device for obtaining a weak GPS C/A code modulation signal are provided to easily detect a peak point which exceeds a threshold value. CONSTITUTION: An AD converter(110) samples an input signal corresponding to a GPS signal. An oscillator(120) generates a copied carrier wave. A mixer(130) mixes a digital signal with the coped carrier wave to generate a complex signal. A compensation unit(140) compensates for the Doppler effect about the output of the AD converter to generate a digital signal. A determining unit(200) obtains a C/A code based on the output of the compensation unit.
