PURPOSE: A pocket for a vertical member of a scaffold is provided to remarkably improve productivity and to reduce construction time and costs by reducing the quantity of welding in half. CONSTITUTION: A pocket(10) for a vertical member of a scaffold is formed by integrally bending a long metal rod. Four pockets, first, second, third, and fourth pockets, are formed by welding vertical members on the outer surface of a pipe(28) in multi-stages. The first and second pockets face with the third and fourth pockets. First, second, third, and fourth connection units are formed between the pockets.
