摘要 PURPOSE: An atom transfer radical polymerization method of vinyl monomers using high oxidation state metal catalysts is provided to prepare a polymer with high molecular weight without use of free radical initiator or reducing agent employing conventional ATRP(Atom Transfer Radical Polymerization) method. CONSTITUTION: In an atom transfer radical polymerization method of vinyl monomers using high oxidation state metal catalysts, the high oxidation state metal catalyst is MXm or MCp'LaLb; X is -Cl, -Br, -I, -PR3, -OAc, -OR, or -OC(=O)CR; Cp' is cyclopentadienyl or indenyl; L is independently -Cl, -Br, -I, -PR3, -OAc, -OR, or -OC(=O)CR; M is Fe, Mo, Cu, Ru, Rh, Ni, Pd, Zr or Ti; and m, a and b are independently an integer of 1-4.
