<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering device of a vessel allowing a propulsion means to turn without generation of interference by other propulsion means, etc. <P>SOLUTION: This steering device includes a control part 14 for calculating a control turning angle for turning the propulsion machine 1, 2 and 3 based on a steering angle by a steering operation of an operator, and turning devices 15, 16 and 17 for turning the propulsion machine 1, 2 and 3 based on the control turning angle calculated by the control part 14. The control part 14 sets a turning limit angle for limiting turning of the propulsion machine 1, 2 and 3 based on at least an actual condition recognition of the type of the vessel, the type of each of the propulsion machine 1, 2 and 3, an actual turning angle of the adjacent propulsion machine when the plurality of propulsion machine 1, 2 and 3 are installed, a distance between a swivel shaft of a self propulsion machine and a swivel shaft of the adjacent propulsion machine when the plurality of propulsion machine 1, 2 and 3 are installed and installation positions of the propulsion machine 1, 2 and 3 on a hull 12, and controls the turning devices 15, 16 and 17 not to turn the propulsion machine 1, 2 and 3 beyond the set turning limit angle. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
