PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display body excellent in forgery prevention effect such that diffraction light accompanied by spectral separated light is emitted when being inclined although a white color pattern is recognized from the front. SOLUTION: The display body has a rugged structural area in which a plurality of recessed parts and/or protrusion parts two-dimensionally arrayed, and a reflection layer with which at least a part of the rugged structural area is covered, on one side principal surface of a light transmission layer, wherein the plurality of recessed parts and/or protrusion parts in the rugged structural area has the minimum center-to-center distance which falls into the range of 200 to 500 nm, has a specified periodicity and has uneven depth of the recessed parts and/or uneven height of the protrusion parts.
