PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foreign matter removal device for a wire saw not requiring adjustment and exchange every time, and not making foreign matters caught in a wire and a groove roller. SOLUTION: In the foreign matter removal device for the wire saw, a workpiece 6 is pressed to a cutting part of a wire raw while descending the workpiece relative to the wire raw of the wire 2 laid so as to be tensional between the plurality of groove rollers 1 to perform cutting. A receiving member 3 for storing the workpiece 6 after cutting is provided below the wire raw, and a foreign matter receiving plate 22 downwardly inclined from the groove roller 1 toward the receiving member 3 is provided between the groove roller 1 and a side plate of the receiving member 3.
