PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an unnecessary-water-splashing preventing device which prevents splashing of the unnecessary water generated when a drilled part is drilled with a drilling apparatus, and to provide the drilling apparatus and a drilling method. SOLUTION: The base end of a case body 3 capable of forming an encircled space by attaching a front end opening edge 3a to a drilled part is provided with a drilling-apparatus-connecting portion 4. When a fitting-connecting portion of the drilling apparatus is inserted in an insertion hole formed on a fitted portion 3b of the case body 3 to be connected, the fitting-connecting portion is brought close contact with an elastic material 5 disposed in the insertion hole. This surely prevents water leakage from a gap between the drilling apparatus and the drilling-apparatus-connecting portion 4. The unnecessary water is discharged from a drain portion 6 formed on the case body 3, which can make the case body 3 compactible. Further, the unnecessary water can be collected to be reused.
