<p>The method for joining of workpieces by means of laser radiation, comprises deflecting a laser beam by means of collimating lens arrangement (30) parallel to the optical axis of the lens system in a laser welding arrangement and then combining with a focusing lens arrangement (40) on a workpiece surface, directly measuring the deformation of the collimating lens arrangement and/or the focusing lens arrangement or its coating or determining by means of model for a temperature-dependent deformation of the lenses and/or its coating and a temperature-and/or temperature distribution measurement. The method for joining of workpieces by means of laser radiation, comprises deflecting a laser beam by means of collimating lens arrangement (30) parallel to the optical axis of the lens system in a laser welding arrangement and then combining with a focusing lens arrangement (40) on a workpiece surface, directly measuring the deformation of the collimating lens arrangement and/or the focusing lens arrangement or its coating or determining by means of model for a temperature-dependent deformation of the lenses and/or its coating and a temperature-and/or temperature distribution measurement at the collimating lens arrangement and/or the focusing lens arrangement. A value is calculated for a focus shift depending on the result of specific deformation and/or the temperature increase of the lenses and/or its coating. Placing means and/or an additional placing means is actuated for the displacement of the collimating lens arrangement in reference to the focusing lens arrangement within the laser welding arrangement from the calculated focus shift and a first and/or second control circuit is formed or the placing means is actuated for the displacement of the workpiece to be joined in direction to the focusing lens arrangement of the laser welding arrangement or to the pre-tracking of the total lens arrangement within the laser welding arrangement to the workpieces, from the calculated focus shift and a control circuit is formed. Contact-free temperature measurement systems are used for measuring the temperature at the lenses and/or at its coating. Pyrometers and/or thermal imaging cameras are used for measuring the temperature. Deflecting optics is used with the use of pyrometers. Triangulation measurement systems or interferometric measurement systems are used for direct determination of the deformation of the lenses and its coatings. An independent claim is included for a device for joining of workpieces.</p> |
