The gas seal has two rotors (16,18), where the latter rotor is connected with a shaft (14). The latter rotor is arranged and formed in such a manner that a space is formed between the both rotors. The length of the latter rotor is formed in axial direction (28) related to a longitudinal axis (30) of the shaft and is larger than a thickness of a stator (20), where the thickness of a stator is formed in axial direction related to the longitudinal axis of the shaft.
